At the branch deadline is 8/15/2008

Approximate Season Schedule:

Games begin September 14, 2008
Season will end approximately the beginning of November

YMCA Sports Philosophy

The YMCA of Greensboro believes that youth and their families can benefit from participation in sports where the emphasis is placed on fun, fitness, and fair play. Under the guidance of dedicated staff and volunteer leadership, the goal is to provide a quality experience that will not only develop individual athletic skill, but also Christian values, self-esteem, and an understanding that there are many ways to win. All sport activities are open to boys and girls. We hope the program will provide a learning experience for all participants based on the practice of athletes first, winning second.

Complete this registration form - all fees must accompany registration forms and team rosters can not be changed without permission of the director in charge.

Open Recreational

Program Information

Age Groups:

There will be 2 Divisions. The Open (competitive) Division is for players 18 & up. The Recreational (non-competitive) Division. Female can play in either division. Players can play in both divisions if they choose too, but only one team per divisions.

Both Divisions are Co-ed.

Costs:

$50 for YMCA Members

$80 for Non-Members

$550 Team Fee (12 player roster limit)

There will be a $15 Late Fee per application applied to all registrations received after deadline.

Games:

Games will be played on Sunday afternoons at the Alex W. Spears III Family YMCA. Teams wiwll play 7 games plus a single elimination tournament.
