What is the Energy Factory?

The Energy Factory is the newest edition to the Alex W. Spears III Family YMCA. Do you have a teenager or youth that loves to play video games? If you said yes, then we have the answer. Have your child come in a play against one of their friends on one of our two Video Bike Stations. The Video Bikes are bikes that are hooked up to Playstations. To go faster in the game, all they have to do is peddle faster. This is one of our features to get our youth and teens active. Another feature in the Energy Factory is DDR, which stands for Dance-Dance-Revolution. Dance-Dance-Revolution is another game where two people compete against each other. Also, in the Energy Factory we have Elipiticails and a treadmill, so parents this room can give you a place to workout with your child.
