              YMCA Sports Philosophy

The YMCA of Greensboro believes that youth and their families can benefit from participation in sports where the emphasis is placed on fun, fitness, and fair play.  Under the guidance of dedicated staff and volunteer leadership, the goal is to provide a quality experience that will not only develop individual athletic skill, but also Christian values, self-esteem, and an understanding that there are many ways to win.  All sport activities are open to boys and girls.  We hope the program will provide a learning experience for all participants based on the practice of athletes first, winning second.

Complete this registration form - all fees must accompany registration forms for child to be registered in the program.

Program Information

Age Groups:

There will be 2 age groups: 5 - 9 Years Old and 10 - 12 Years Old.

Costs:

$75 for YMCA Members
$100 for Non-Members

There will be a $15 Late Fee per application applied to all registrations received after deadline.

Location of Practices and Games:

Each squad will practice one night a week at the Alex W. Spears III Family YMCA or Guilford Day School and games will be played on Saturdays at one of the following locations: Alex W. Spear III Family YMCA or Guilford Day School.
