Bright Beginnings

This year, hundreds of children in our community will start school without basic supplies. These students will not have pencils, bookbags or the new clothes that most kids look forward to wearing on the first day of school. They need need your help.

Here's how you can help:

  • A $125 gift provides transportation, a meal, new clothes and supplies for a child.  Gifts of any amount are accepted.
  • We need volunteers - join us for a shopping trip in August 2008. If you are interested in being a volunteer contact our Membership Coordinator, Carmen Bailey.
  • Donate a new bookbag and school supplies.

"It was such a blessing to be able to make a difference in a child's life and know that he'll start school with the things he needs to be successful."
