           Summer Adventure Camp

The Alex W. Spears III Family YMCA's Summer Adventure Camp is for children ages 5 to 12.  Parents, pick and choose the weeks you need service!  The camp runs from 7:30am to 6:00pm. Activities will include Arts & Crafts, games, sports, field trips, character development and daily swim times.

Field Trips

  • Field trips may not coincide with weekly themes.
  • Field Trip schedules: 
    • 9-10 and 11-12 age groups go on Tuesday
    • 7-8 age groups go on Wednesday
    • 5-6 age groups go on Thursday

  • Cost:  $115 YMCA Members; $135 Non-Members
  • Registration fee:  $50-1st child, $25-2nd child, $10 each additional child
  • Please note:  The registration fee of $50 and a $15 deposit per week per child is due upon registration of your child(ren) for Summer Camp.  The registration fee and deposit(s) are non-refundable or transferable. 
  • Weeks 1&4 are pro-rated: Week 1 $45 members/$54 non-members; Week 4 $92 members/$108 non-members
  • All weekly payments are due the Friday before the week of service.  Payments received after Friday will have a $15 late charge.
  • Parent / Guardian is responsible for balance due of each week registered unless 5 business day's written notice has been given to the YMCA.
  • Deadline for scholarship applications to be received is May 23, 2008. Registration fee and weekly deposits must be made before scholarship application is reviewed. Scholarship will not be applied to registration fee or weekly deposits, only to weekly camp payments.
  • Ci Ci's Pizza Fridays are back this summer starting the first week of camp.  They can have either 1 slice of pizza, chips & drink for $3 or 2 slices, chips & drink for $4.  Pre-order by Tuesday afternoon each week, so we can tell Ci Ci's the quantity we need.
